Not sure when I’ll receive a call back but I’ve deleted the app as I’ve come to the conclusion that WW is not for me and the customer support is not just acceptable/none existent. Advisor didn’t know how to resolve this said he needed manger support but none available and someone would call me within 36hrs! Said he’d done his best but had actuality made things worse!! I was logged in online which then gave me an option to cancel immediately which I did so lost access to the app which did have 5weeks remaining. Account was cancelled but with immediate effect! Was then reinstated but now showed the next billing date as today 15/05. Was told my cancellation was pending but he would resolve it. I rang to query this as I’ve not recently used the app but thought I’d give it another go with my 5 final weeks. Previously asked to cancel at the end of the term (6months) but account was still showing next billing date in June. Customer services and cancellation are definitely zero stars. Poor app experience as slow to load multiple entries for items and very frequent requests for additional info when using the scanner makes for a very poor experience which is time consuming. Currently, I am being charged £18.95 for a service that isn't right for me. I was incredibly surprised that a company the size of WW would treat customers this way. I found the customer service number and spoke to an unhelpful, rude 'customer service' person who reminded me more than once that I am being charged as it is in the T&Cs. When I noticed I was being charged, I emailed WW and got no response. When I did cancel, I received a cancellation email that mentioned nothing about being charged, just that I would have access to WW until July 2023, which I remember thinking was a generous thing to do as a company. She did this without making it clear that the T&Cs state I will be charged for the next year whether I use the service or not. I spoke to a consultant via the online messaging service, who was quite pushy and talked me into continuing, even though I wanted to cancel. Being vegetarian and not eating eggs, I didn't feel I had enough options, and many of the foods I eat count as 0 points, which didn't make sense to me as a way of losing weight. Early on, I decided WW wasn't the right fit for me. ![]()
